She presented the short story ‘Sorry to disturb you’ (published by La Toletta and now being reprinted by Linea Edizioni): a journey of love and sweetness into the heart of a mother who knows she must leave a sentimental testament to her family, to help them survive the disease and the oblivion of memory. A story-book that evokes music, voices from the past, black and white images. It encapsulates not one life, but the existence of many people. A sort of diary that Adele writes to her daughter to accompany her in facing the pain of her illness and to leave her granddaughter Francesca the most important inheritance: family memory. So that the history and memories of irreplaceable and indissoluble affections are not lost, but accompany life as it flows by supporting what is most important: love in its various declinations. Through these pages, the author enhances a testimony that becomes a starting point to read from an angle, sometimes taken for granted, that which most intimately concerns each of us.
