Murano Glass Beyond The Barricades
For DNA Italia we followed the Murano Glass Beyond The Barricades press office.
Thirteen Murano glass factories took part in this one-of-a-kind exhibition: the creativity of the glass masters transformed jersey barriers and anonymous urban design into works of art via the driving force of glass, unleashing the magic, beauty, history and culture of glass.
The thirteen Murano glass factories that participated in Murano Glass Beyond the Barricades were: Leonardo Cimolin and Andrea Salvagno – Berengo Studio 1989, Costantini Glassbeads, Effetre Murano, Fornace Ferro Murano, Gambaro & Tagliapietra, Laguna B, Massimiliano Schiavon Art Team, Nicola Moretti , Ongaro and Fuga, Seguso Gianni, Simone Cenedese, Tiozzo Sergio, and Murano Artistic Stained Glass.

La mostra è stata inserita nell’ambito degli eventi previsti durante The Venice Glass Week (2018), il primo festival internazionale della città dedicato all’arte del vetro, con particolare attenzione a quello di Murano. Murano Glass Beyond The Barricades è stato organizzato in collaborazione e con il patrocinio del Consorzio Promovetro di Murano gestore del marchio della Regione del Veneto Vetro Artistico di Murano, Confartigianato Venezia, Bugno Art Gallery.
