The brand communication activity in collaboration with Master Baker Matteo Cunsolo began in 2019. The mission is to build and enhance the visibility of the Master by focusing on communication with on and offline media, and by developing a strong brand identity through proper social media strategy. The goal is to increase visibility, providing added significance to bread and to Matteo Cunsolo’s role as Master Baker, even outside the traditional specialized media sector.

Matteo Cunsolo is the owner of the La Panetteria bakery in Parabiago (province of Milan), he is president of the Confcommercio Bakers Association of Milan and Province and secretary of Richemont Club Italia, as well as trainer and consultant for public and private companies, schools and academies.

Pane Blu Pantone

Tribute to Milan Fashion Week and to Classic Blue, elected colour of the year for 2020

From this need, at the beginning of 2020, the creation of the “Pane Blu Pantone” (Pantone Blue Bread) campaign was born. Master Baker Cunsolo prepared the “Pane Blu Pantone 2020” as a tribute to Milan Fashion Week and to Classic Blue, elected colour of the year for 2020. The Master Baker, after various tests, used the Clitoria Ternatea infusion, an herbal tea prepared with the dried flowers of the Butterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea), commonly known as “blue pea” or “cordofan pea”, a species that belongs to the legume family. The Butterfly Pea is native to Southeast Asia. The result, when used for baking is a bread with blue shades, even on the outside, while the inside acquires a reassuring and intense blue colour.

News agencies, national radio stations and major newspapers in the food as well as the fashion sectors picked up the story. The goal was to make bread the protagonist in order to convey to the public how this apparently simple product can be surprising, tasty, fashionable and trendy.

During the lockdown for the Covid 19 emergency, a bread home-delivery project was launched, in collaboration with other artisanal shops in the Parabiago area. This project began from the day of closure, and has permitted a bond with customers, as well as offering a continuous service for the community of Parabiago and the neighbouring towns.
